Time is money. Anyone who has tried to get ahead or make ends meet in America knows this. Too often, I spend so long working on a task that I begin to lose sight of why I needed to do it to begin with. This is why I jumped in whole heartedly when the cell phone app revolution began. There are so many incredible apps that will help you market your business in a snap! Below are my top 5 apps for quickly editing images for Instagram use and increasing your Instagram productivity.
1. Rhonna Designs-$1.99
Rhona Designs is my number 1 go-to app. The front page lets you click on the camera to use your own image (e.g. Instagram Brand) or they supply your with many different backgrounds that you can choose from. Once an image has been chosen, you can choose from multiple different fonts for creating your own word images. I feel that it is very user friendly and easy to learn for a newbie.
Canva is very popular amongst bloggers and amateur designers. Their app is truly amazing and very user-friendly. It does require you to sign up for Canva use, however. Once logged in, it gives you options of types of social media images you want to create. From there, it shows a list of options for the style of social media image you are looking for. When you have found an image style you like, it then takes you to the editing page. Here, you can insert your own image for Instagram while keeping their font style. It also lets you edit the Instagram image from here including adding additional design statements to make your Instagram image truly stand out.
VSCO is a fabulous app if you would like to quickly streamline your images to all look the same with a single click. The different filters have a very basic name, so if there is one that you like, you can remember which one you clicked very easily.
4. Photoshop Express-FREE
This is my favorite photo editor. Since it is put out by Adobe, I can easily access all of the photos in my Adobe Creative Cloud without having to download any images to my phone. This saves me time and phone space since I usually do most of my photo editing in Lightroom and Photoshop anyway. I especially love the fact that Photoshop Express has redeye detection and removal capabilities for everyday photos.
After light is very, very, VERY similar to Photoshop Express. If you do not have an Adobe account and do not need the Creative Cloud capabilities, this is definitely one to consider. It has all of the basic editing skills that you could need for fine-tuning a photo.
I hope that you find at least 1 of these apps helpful in streamlining your social media efforts for your blog or business. If there is an app that your LOVE and couldn’t live without that I didn’t list, please share what the app is and why do you love it so much?
